peace.

Tranquility.  Mt Warning, NSW

Peace.  it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work.  it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.  (author unknown)

This quote has been around for ages.  I have a mug with it printed on and a journal.  Whenever I read this quote, it returns me to centre and I stop and take a deep breath and feel grateful that someone out there was able to put my feelings into words.

As I write, you might think that I'm in a nice spiritual space, listening to some relaxation music, but in fact I have Neil Diamond's Hot August Night blarring!  You see, it works, there is much noise around me, but I am still calm in my heart!

I'm going to see him in concert next week!  Welcome back Neil, you absolute legend!

Best friends...

Louise the chook has found her own little 'happy place' to lay her eggs.  Sofia favoured the 'happy plant' out the back, while Louise feels most at home under the Jade plant near the front entry.  We're sure this must be a wonderful sign of prosperity.  Feng Shui type of thing?

She has this very cute relationship with the rabbit ornament I call Nibbles.  You'll see from the photos that Nibbles stands guard and keeps a lookout while Louise nestles down to complete her daily chore.

It's the little things like this in my daily life that make me smile and feel so grateful for all that I have.  I hope there is one little thing about today that will make you smile and feel grateful too.  Jane
